ChatGPT Ads · OpenAI Ads Manager

# There are already ads in ChatGPT. They’re not yours yet.

Hundreds of millions of people use ChatGPT to decide what to buy, what to hire and whom to call. Ads are already shown beneath those answers. We design, launch and optimise your ChatGPT Ads campaigns: **the context hints, the creatives, the landing page and the measurement**.

We run campaigns in English and Spanish, and in several markets at once. Diagnosis in 30 minutes.

Why this isn’t just another Google Ads

## On Google they type two words. On ChatGPT they tell the whole problem.

A search

“CRM”

A brief

“I need a CRM for 30 sales reps that integrates with what I already have and doesn’t take half a year to roll out”

That’s the whole difference. In ChatGPT Ads you don’t buy a keyword: you describe the conversations in which your product makes sense. OpenAI calls these **context hints**, and they are signals to steer delivery, not exact matches. Nobody guarantees you’ll appear in a specific conversation.

What you can do is describe the problem you solve far better than your competitors. That’s no longer media buying. It’s writing with judgement.

Here the highest bidder doesn’t win. Whoever best explains who their product is for does.

No mystery

## Before you hire us, you should know what you’re buying.

#### Where it appears

Beneath ChatGPT’s answer. Never inside it. Advertiser name, favicon, headline, description, image and a link to your page. Ads don’t change what the model answers.

#### How it’s decided

A second-price auction weighted by relevance. The conversation context, your headline, your copy, your landing page and your context hints all count. A bad landing page doesn’t just convert worse: it gets delivered less.

#### How you pay

CPM if the goal is reach. CPC if the goal is clicks. You set the maximum bid at ad-group level.

#### How it’s measured

Impressions, clicks, spend, CTR, average CPC, average CPM and conversions in Ads Manager. UTMs are preserved on the click, so traffic arrives identified in your GA4 and your CRM. If you don’t set it up this way, in three months you won’t know what happened.

The service

## We don’t sell you ads. We build the channel for you.

01

### Fit diagnosis

We look at your product, your ticket, your sales cycle and your current funnel. If ChatGPT Ads won’t add anything this quarter, we tell you. Saying no is part of the job too.

02

### Conversation map

We reconstruct how your customer describes the problem when talking to an assistant, not how they search for it on Google. That’s where the context hints come from, grouped by intent, not by keyword.

03

### Creatives

Headlines and descriptions built on concrete, verifiable benefits. No “the market-leading solution”. Several variants per group from day one, because without creative volume there is no learning.

04

### Landing page

The ad gets the click. The landing page has to justify it. We adapt or build the landing page so it talks about the same thing as the conversation that triggered the ad. Never the generic home page.

05

### Real measurement

Conversions set up in Ads Manager, consistent UTMs, GA4 and CRM connected. We want cost per real opportunity, not cost per pretty click.

06

### Weekly optimisation

Context, creative, bid and budget. What works gets scaled. What doesn’t gets stopped. With the number in front of you and in writing.

One channel, several countries

## Your customer asks in their language. Your ad should answer in it too.

ChatGPT Ads is live in dozens of markets and the way in isn’t the same everywhere: in some you can sign up directly, in others access goes through OpenAI’s team or a partner. We take care of that part.

We run campaigns in English and Spanish, with context hints written for each market. And that isn’t translating the headline: **the way a problem is described changes from one country to another**, and that text is exactly what decides whether your ad is delivered or not.

If you sell abroad, this isn’t an extra. It’s the job.

The two levers

## Paying to appear and getting recommended are not the same thing. And they need each other.

ChatGPT Ads
You buy space. You appear beneath the answer, labelled as an ad, when your offer fits the conversation. It switches on in weeks and switches off when you stop paying.

GEO
You work so that ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews cite you inside the answer, without paying. It takes three to six months to really move, but it doesn’t switch off.

We are among the few who know how to do both. And among the fewer who can prove it.

**And here’s the uncomfortable part:** if ChatGPT recommends three of your competitors in the answer and you appear beneath it as an ad, you have a credibility problem, not a bidding problem. That’s why the first deliverable of any campaign of ours is knowing what AI says about your brand today. If it says something false, it gets corrected at the source before a single euro is spent.

How we work

## Five steps. None of them decorative.

#### Fit

Product, margin, sales cycle and sales capacity. Two weeks. If it doesn’t fit, it stops here.

#### Access

Account set-up, company verification, billing and markets. Depending on the country you get in through self-service or through OpenAI’s team or a partner. We sort it out and tell you where you stand before you plan a budget.

#### Measurement first

Conversions, UTMs, GA4 and CRM connected before the first impression. If the data isn’t reliable, everything else is faith.

#### Launch

Structure, intent-based groups, creatives, landing pages and a capped learning budget.

#### Optimisation

Weekly review. A monthly dashboard with the metrics management cares about. If the number doesn’t go up, we change the plan, not the excuse.

It’s not for everyone

## If your customer thinks before buying from you, this channel makes sense.

### A good fit

- **B2B software and SaaS.** People compare, ask and request recommendations. The natural scenario.
- **Professional services.** Consulting, legal, financial, engineering. High ticket and a considered decision.
- **Training and education.** Programmes, master’s degrees and certifications researched over weeks.
- **Considered-purchase e-commerce.** Products that get compared before buying, not impulse purchases.
- **Healthcare, insurance and specialised services.** With margin for the lead and a salesperson behind it to work it.
- **Travel and experiences.** Destinations, accommodation and activities planned by asking.

### Not a fit today

- **Low-ticket impulse purchases.** The CPC eats your margin.
- **Purely local businesses with a short radius.** Targeting isn’t built for that yet.
- **Brands with nobody to handle a lead within 24 hours.** You’ll pay for conversations that go cold on their own.
- **Anyone who needs guaranteed profitability in month one.** This channel is paid for by learning.

If your sales cycle is one afternoon, stay on Google. We’ll tell you that for free.

Before signing

## What you will get

- A capped learning budget, in writing, before we start.
- The Ads Manager account in your name. Yours, always.
- A two-page weekly report you can read in five minutes.
- A person with a name and a phone number. The same one who executes.
- Us telling you to stop if the numbers don’t add up.

## What you won’t see here

- Made-up success stories from a channel that opened months ago.
- “Impressions” presented as results.
- Promises of cheaper CPCs than Google. We don’t know yet, and neither does anyone who guarantees it.
- Twelve-month lock-ins to cover up the first three.
- The word “revolution”.

What we won’t tell you

## ChatGPT Ads isn’t going to replace Google Ads. At least not this year.

Google has twenty-five years of data and measured purchase intent. Meta has a scale this doesn’t have yet. ChatGPT Ads is a beta product that keeps changing every month.

Pretending we know today what we’ll know in six months would be exactly the kind of agency we don’t want to be.

What we do know: when a channel opens, CPCs are low because there is no competition, and whoever gets in first builds up learning that can’t be bought with budget later.

**In a new channel, arriving early isn’t an image advantage. It’s a cost advantage.**

Frequently asked questions

## What you ask us about ChatGPT Ads

Which countries is ChatGPT Ads available in?Two things need separating: where ads are shown and where they can be bought from. Ads are already shown in dozens of markets, including Spain and the other countries in the European expansion of August 2026. For advertisers, self-service sign-up to OpenAI Ads Manager is open in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Mexico and Brazil. In the rest of the listed markets, including Spain and the European ones, self-service is listed as “coming soon” and access goes through OpenAI’s Ads Solutions team, agency partners or technology partners. OpenAI keeps the table updated in its help centre and changes it often, so it’s worth checking before committing budget. We review it every week.

So can I advertise from Spain or elsewhere in Europe?Yes, although not yet through self-service. The route in European markets is OpenAI’s Ads Solutions team, a partner agency or a technology partner. You can also create your account at ads.openai.com and OpenAI will notify you when self-service opens in your country. That process is part of what we do: we tell you which door you go in through and how long it takes before you plan anything.

What is ChatGPT Ads?ChatGPT Ads is OpenAI’s advertising system inside ChatGPT. It shows sponsored ads beneath the answers, never mixed in with them, and is managed from OpenAI Ads Manager. Each ad includes the advertiser name, favicon, headline, description, an image and the link to the landing page.

Do ads change what ChatGPT answers? No. Ads are displayed separately from the answer and are clearly identified as sponsored content. The ad system and the model work separately.

How much does it cost to advertise in ChatGPT?There are two ways to buy: CPM if you choose the reach objective and CPC if you choose the clicks objective. You set a maximum bid at ad-group level and the auction is second-price, weighted by relevance. OpenAI recommends starting CPC campaigns with a maximum bid of between 3 and 5 dollars per click. The real cost will depend on your sector, your market, your competition and how relevant your ad is.

Does ChatGPT Ads work with keywords? No. It works with context hints: descriptions, at ad-group level, of the conversations, topics or needs in which your product may be relevant. They steer delivery, but they are neither exact matches nor a guarantee of appearing in a specific conversation.

Who sees ads in ChatGPT?Users on the Free and Go plans. Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu accounts don’t see advertising, nor do accounts identified as belonging to under-18s.

Can the return be measured?Yes. Ads Manager reports impressions, clicks, spend, CTR, average CPC, average CPM and conversions, and lets you set up conversion measurement. On top of that, UTM parameters are preserved on the click, so traffic arrives identified in your analytics and your CRM. We don’t consider an implementation finished until that loop works.

How is it different from Google Ads?On Google the user types a query; on ChatGPT they explain a situation with context, constraints and budget. That changes how the campaign is built: grouped by intent instead of by keyword, with copy quality mattering more than term volume. They aren’t substitute channels: Google has scale and data, ChatGPT has context.

What’s the difference between ChatGPT Ads and GEO?ChatGPT Ads is paid advertising: you appear beneath the answer, labelled, while you pay. GEO is organic work so that the models mention and cite you inside the answer. One switches on in weeks and off when you stop paying; the other takes months and stays. They are complementary.

Can you run campaigns in several countries at once?Yes. We work in English and Spanish, with context hints written for each market rather than translated, and with unified measurement so cost per opportunity can be compared across countries. The access route may vary by market and we handle that.

Do I need a specific landing page?Recommended. The landing page is one of the signals the system takes into account to decide whether your ad is relevant, so sending all the traffic to the home page penalises you twice: in delivery and in conversion.

Do I need an agency to advertise in ChatGPT?Where self-service is open, it isn’t mandatory: any company can create its account. It makes sense to delegate if you don’t have someone to build the context hints, produce several creatives per group, set up the measurement and review the account every week. If you have that team, set up the account yourself and call us only if you get stuck.

How much budget do I need to start? It depends on the sector and the market, but the figure isn’t what matters: what matters is that it’s a capped learning budget, with a written hypothesis and a date to decide whether to scale or stop. We close that on the first call.
